Where?

Arrived in Goolgowi - yes, exactly - where is it? On the road to West Wyalong, heading north searching for some warmth and sunshine.

This is a tiny town, a sort of human version of the "Long Paddock" that we drove through today. It has one shop, which does everything from sell iced vovos  to advertise sheep pregnancy kits; we didn't need either so didn't contribute much to the local economy.

Why Copper Wire?

There is a old joke about copper wire being invented by a Scot and a Dutchman fighting over a penny, and it seems appropriate as my husband and I are that canny mix. Let's hope we don't fight too much though as we are about to spend time in a small van touring Oz.
